Fuel subsidy removal is in Nigeria's interest ' Abe, Senate petroleum committee chairman

Senator Abe Magnus Ngei (PDP, Rivers South East) , is the current chairman, Senate Committee on Petroleum (Downstream) which released the list of fuel importers who receive the controversial subsidy from the Federal Government. In this interview with REMI KOLEOSO, he says that the issues of petroleum subsidy have been over-flogged and advises the country not to fritter away its oil resources without creating wealth for the coming generations. The former Secretary to the Rivers State government also speaks on the Federal Government's amnesty programme and uses it as a model to tackle the rising menace of Boko Haram.
