JNI scribe accuses Oritsejafor of incitement

SECRETARY General of the Jama'tu Nasril Islam (JNI), Dr. Khalid Abubakar Aliyu said yesterday that its members could not be intimidated by Christian leaders over the activities of the Islamic fundamentalist sect, Boko Haram.He also insisted that Islam is a religious of peace and argued that in as much as the JNI condemned the Christmas Day bombing by the Boko Haram, the President of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), Pastor Ayo Oritsejafor should desist fro inciting Nigerians.'We cannot be intimidated by these threats and intimidations. We are (a) peaceful people, we respect the laws of the country and we cannot jump over the fence of government because they are charged with the full responsibility of providing security for the lives and property of the people,' he said.
