3SC disappoints coach Allen

KWARA United of Ilorin on Saturday defeated the Shooting Stars by 1-0 in a pre-season game at the Gateway International Stadium, Ijebu-Ode, Ogun State.United striker, Bolaji Shakin was the hero of the match as he scored the only goal of the match in the second half of the encounter.Though 3SC dominated the first half encounter, the game became dull when 3SC introduced its second team which consisted of new players.One of the 3SC invitee, Kola Ige conceded the lone goal after Daniel Emmanel left the post for him 15th minutes to stoppage time.3SC new coach, Festus Allen sat with the spectators while his assistant, Tunde Odubola Zico was in charge of the match.Kwara United's Technical Adviser, Tunde Sanni, said he was happy for the performance of his boys and they really showed their worth against Shooting Stars of Ibadan.''We are giving our new signing a chance to see how they can cope. They play to instructions. We are picking up for the new season and are hopeful of going into the new season with good players," Sanni told Tribunesports in Ijebu Ode.Some of the players 3SC paraded are Flying Eagles Goal keeper, Dele Ajiboye, former Vietnam based central defender, Olasope Hammed, Former Gateway star, Alaba Ogunaike, Kola Ige, Aaron Samuel, Isiaka Abdullahi among others.All effort to get the 3SC new coach, Festus Allen, Oyo State Commissioner for Sports, Dapo Lam Adesina, Club Manager, Mutiu Adepoju were prove abortive as they left before the final whistle.
