New Year: Kogi gov urges Nigerians to keep faith

THE Kogi State governor, AlhajiIbrahim Idris, has urged Nigerians to keep faith with the nation and its leadership in spite of the challenges of last year.Alhaji Idris made the called in his New Year message to the nation on Sunday.He said the nation had witnessed tremendous success despite some setbacks, hence the need to keep faith with the nation.Governor Idris called on the people to continue to support the government at all levels in its efforts to transform the nation.He further called on the people to use the occasion of the new to dedicate their lives to God and pray for the country and its leaders, saying that through prayer the nation would achieve peace that would lead to development.He said ' though the nation is facing some challenges, but it is obvious that we would overcome it to build a great nation. I wish all the nation happy and prosperous 2012.
