Eagles' form thrills Keshi

SUPER Eagles players performances recently for their European clubsides have become a thing of joy for Stephen Keshi.Keshi, who is currently looking for a way to have a formidable squad said he has been hugely impressed by the current performances of his players plying their trade in Europe.Notable among the Eagles stars that thrill keshi are Victor Anichebe, Yakubu Aiyegbeni and Victor Moses.Keshi, who spoke when he returned from Benin City on a routine visit, said he would not be intimidated to name the players that he would use for the national team opening Nations Cup qualifier against the Amavuvbi of Rwanda.'As the whole world can see, most of our national team players like Yakubu Aiyegbeni, Osaze Odemwengie, Victor Moses, Ike Uche and Victor Anichebe are doing quite well. That is not the issue, we want a situation whereby they will keep doing well so that at the end of the day we pick only the best for the national team.He called for a change of heart from the Nigerian soccer populace, saying that if a man did not perform well in a previous encounter, it does not mean that he would not be a hero in the next. 'I'm not particular about any player, but we must give all our international players equal opportunities. That is the focus and programme of this present national team set up.
