NIGERIA Premier League's six-time king, Enyimba, is closing in on the Ghanaian striker of relegated JUTH FC, James Amankwei, after signing two of his team-mates.Negotiations between JUTH and Enyimba have been stalled because the striker is still away in Accra on holidays, but he is expected back this week. A top official of Enyimba informed MTNFootball.com: 'We are expecting James Amankwei from JUTH. He is in Accra now but is expected here this week. The talk is at an advanced stage, so I am hopeful he will be here.'Amankwei's goals helped the Jos club struggling back to the top flight for the 2010/11 season. Last season, he scored six goals but JUTH was promptly relegated as it finished bottom of the standings. He is strong on the ball, packs powerful shots and is good aerially.Enyimba has already snapped up midfielder Uche Agbo and the club's joint top scorer in the NPL last season, Moshood Kasali.'As I speak to you, two players of JUTH FC, mercurial midfielder Uche Agbo and joint top scorer Moshood Kasali are Enyimba players now,' an official disclosed. 'Both teams have agreed terms and the players too are satisfied with their personal terms. They are top quality players.'Other JUTH players on the move are Hassan Hussein (Dolphin), Tijani Sulaiman (Jigawa Golden Stars), while Kamoru Sikiru and first-choice goalkeeper Eze Fidelis have teamed up with Niger Tornadoes.
