Youths in Kano protest subsidy removal, accuse Jonathan of insensitivity

Twenty four hours after the Federal Government removed fuel subsidy nationwide, youths in their hundreds yesterday in Kano staged a peaceful protest in the commercial city, accusing President Goodluck Jonathan of insensitivity to the aspirations of the masses.The protesters, who marched through Sabon titi, Mandawri, Taludu, as well as Gwale in Kano metropolis, stressed that the Peoples Democratic Party(PDP) led government is insensitive to sufferings of the people.Some of the inscriptions on different placards carried by the youths read 'No to subsidy removal', 'Jonathan you want to kill Nigerians', 'PDP's government imposes hardship on the masses', and 'Jonathan stop deceiving the masses' among others
