Community cautions youths on oil pipelines

The Chairman of Diebiri Batan community Warri, Mr. Alex Ebi-Feminine, has warned youths in the area to put a stop to vandalisation of oil pipelines.He noted that the community would no longer tolerate such criminal act because arrangement had been made with security agents to tackle the menace.Mr. Ebi-Feminine expressed displeasure with the action of the youths and enjoined them to turn a new leaf and abstain from any breach of the law and order.'I want to warn you all to desist from pipeline vandalisation. It does not help in the development of the community but instead cause more devastation and deter its growth', he said.The community leader noted that his administration had alerted the Joint Task Force (JTF) on the spate of pipeline vandalisation and had received assurance to help in the fight against the menace.He said necessary machinery had been put in place to enhance the development of the community for the benefit of all.
