Of Satguru Maharaj ji's mission as a saviour

Published by Tribune on Wed, 11 Jan 2012

Several issues were generated on the above subject matter, in an article entitled 'A look at Maharaj Ji Leaflet' written by Abiodun Awolaja,of the Politics Desk of the Nigerian Tribune published on page 18 of the Nigerian Tribune of Wednesday, December 7, 2011. The article was, very interesting, critical, and equally put into question mark, Satguru Maharaj Ji's soul saving mission, as reflected in a leaflet entitled 'Appearance of The Saviour of Our Time.'Human history is replete with repetitions, and those whom the grace has touched to change the course of history, positively, are always subjects of abuse, vilification and persecution, in their lifetime. Great works of the ascended masters, African heroes and Nationalists like Buddha, Zoroaster, Jesus, Mohammed, Dr. Kwame Nkrumah, Chief Obafemi Awolowo, Dr. Nnamdi Azikiwe, etc, were neither recognised nor appreciated, until the end of their service periods. And thereafter, human problems and travails have always become complicated, accompanied by turnmoil of great magnitude, resulting in destruction of properties and killings of the innocent souls. In essence, issues surrounding Satguru Maharaj Ji, after 32 years of being in our midst, unrecognised, abused, vilified and persecuted need to be objectively analysed. Has Satguru Maharaj Ji, really, been able to change the course of history in Nigeria, nay the world at large' Does Satguru merit the appellation of a Saviour or an Avatar' Lets go down memory lane. The significance of June 12, in re-shaping the future political events in Nigeria, had been postulated by Maharaj Ji during the opening ceremony of Maharaj Ji Village in 1987, thus: '... Strategies for day-to-day survival have shifted from the age-long adage of being our brother's keepers, emphasis is now on brazen blow war. The forces of darkness have taken advantages of the ignorance of many to exercise their evil influence on man. They have failed, but the tardiness and mind-baffling games of many people who toy with message of surrender prompted this Power to pronounce June 12 as dawn of the Golden Age. From that date on, every person must account for his actions. Guru Maharaj Ji has a programme.'Exactly six years after 1987 Maharaj Ji's pronouncement, June 12, 1993 became a watershed in our national political life. And since then, several ministers, governors, senators, and a former Inspector General of Police, all hitherto untouchable, and many of our leaders, have paid and are still paying the prices for their misdeed, one way or the other. On 29th May, 1993, at the auditorium of the National Theatre, Iganmu, Lagos, Satguru Maharaj Ji declared Nigeria as the New Holy Land of the Universe, and the beginning of an institutionalised divine government worldwide, using Nigeria as a springboard, as the leader-nation, to pilot the world into the emerging Golden Age of Life six years after. And at exactly the same date, 29th May, 1999, democratically elected governments were ushered in, at all levels of political governance, in Nigeria. In essence, while Nigeria celebrates Democracy Day on every May 29, the ONE LOVE FAMILY of Satguru Maharaj Ji, usually celebrates the declaration of Nigeria as the New Holy land of the Universe, since May 29, 1993, six years ahead of Democracy Day celebration, in Nigeria. On August 16, 1993, at the National Theatre, Lagos, Maharaj Ji consecrated Nigeria as a 'NO WAR ZONE, COME WHAT MAY' when Nigeria was at the peak of going to war with herself because of the June 12, 1993 presidential election annulment.Sometime in May 1999, journalists had sought the opinion of Satguru Maharaj Ji on the possibility of the world coming to an end, on July 6 and 7, 1999, as earlier predicted by that great Frenchman, Nostradamus. Satguru Maharaj Ji answered that the world would only come to an end if any of Maharaj Ji's Ashrams (places of worship) was destroyed ' just a parable. On July 6 and 7, 1999, the exact date and year that Nostradamus predicted that all souls would perish, hoodlums came to destroy the Iju Ashram of Satguru Maharaj Ji, totally. Thereafter, Satguru Maharaj Ji was detained for a year, on a trumped-up charge of murder, but was eventually discharged and acquitted on July 25, year 2000, by an Ikeja High Court, Lagos ' what a great sacrifice to save the world, and human souls! An American evangelical broadcaster, Harold Camping, pronounced October 3, 2011 as the end of the world, but Satguru Maharaj Ji immediately caused a full page advertorial of 'The Universal Divine Song of Creation' ' ARTI, to be published in the Nigerian Tribune of Sunday, October 2, 2011, in order to spiritually counter the evil machinations, and the elemental forces. The publication was entitled, 'Saving the world from ending tomorrow,' with subtitled 'The World Will Never End.'In essence, Satguru Maharaj Ji's assertion of institutionalising democracy in this country, and coming to save the world, and souls, from perishing, could only be understood by those who can divinely interpret events with the inner eyes, because, according to Chief Obafemi Awolowo, only the deep can go to the deep.In 1995, the former NDLEA boss, the late Gen. Bamaiyi, once detained Maharaj Ji for 37 days, because Maharaj Ji told journalists that Maharaj Ji Village, in Ibadan, was worth billions of billions of dollars. Hence, the conclusion by Bamaiyi that Satguru might be pushing drugs ' whereby it was just a parable, and spiritual language, to describe how unquantifiable The Highest Spiritual Centre of the Universe, Maharaj Ji Village is, in terms of soul-saving.In conclusion, it is only those with pure and sincere hearts of love that tend to understand the beneficial spartan life of any master of an age. Hence, the need to leave illusion for reality, by taking the bold steps to the lotus feet of Satguru Maharaj Ji, in order to receive divine knowledge of Life, which opens people's third or inner eyes and ears, to be able to see, hear, feel, taste and talk beyond idiosyncrasies, and eventually go beyond time and space, so that one does not become judgemental on issues one knows nothing about, or has no understanding of.Ayinde is the Media Coordinator, One Love Family
