Jonathan was adequately warned

The battle is drawn. The President was warned that its unwise to open two deadly fronts at a time. The first, a direct security issue: Boko-Haram. The second, indirect: subsidy-specific protests that may eventually lead to security concerns. Letting both come simultaneously doesnt show battle cuteness. He was urged to move on and never retreat but now at the trench, urge has met reality. Fact is, both issues have the potential to fit into and reinforce one another if the protests linger. Itd become such that when a Boko-bomb goes off, sympathy for Jonathan goes down because the people, boxed to the wall may say, serves him right.
