Oshiomhole's planned rally, a waste of public funds 'Edo PDP youth leader

THE Edo State youth leader of the Peoples Democratic Party,Vincent Akhere, yesterday described as a huge waste of public fund the proposed one million youth rally for Governor Adams Oshiomhole scheduled for January 26 this year at the Kings Square, Benin.Akhere, who stated this in an interview with newsmen in Benin, said instead of doling out such huge amount for a mere rally, it should be channeled towards improved welfare of thousands of unemployed youths roaming the streets of the state. According to him, 'the programme amounts to a waste of tax payers' money because the youths in Edo, whether members of ACN, PDP, artisans, students are groaning under the government of ACN in Edo State'.
