Jonathan's handling of subsidy crisis excites Gowon

Former Head of State, General Yakubu Gowon (rtd), has hailed the manner in which President Goodluck Jonathan handled the crisis that greeted the removal of fuel subsidy, saying the nation will soon get over the security challenge. Fielding questions from State House correspondents shortly after a meeting with Jonathan in company of former President Shehu Shagari, he said they were at the Presidential Villa to greet Jonathan."We are here to greet the President. We were to have attended the Council of State meeting that was cancelled because of the nationwide strike called off by organised labour on Monday.
