Okon bags Falconets job

THE Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) has appointed Edwin Okon as head coach of the country's U-20 women's team, Falconets.The veteran tactician will also doubles as head coach of local women's side, River Angels. Okon will be assisted by former Super Falcons captain, Florence Omagbemi and Chris Nwaehi with Taiwo Ajobiewe as goalkeeper trainer.Meanwhile, NFF said it has invited 30 players to Falconets camp ahead of their qualifying series for the FIFA U-20 Women's World Cup.The players were expected to report on January 20 at the National Stadium in Abuja.The Falconets are due to face Sierra Leone next month in the preliminary qualifier for the World Cup billed for Uzbekistan later this year.
