Firm partners institution on corporate performance in Nigeria

EXECUTIVE Trainers Limited, in collaboration with University of Wolerhampton, United Kingdom has concluded plans to organise a programme aimed at improving the level of performance of corporate establishment to achieve the desired growth.The event, which would commence on January 25 and end on 29, 2012, according the Chairman of Executive Trainers Limited, Mr. Ayodele Ogunsan would 'usher in a new horizon and understanding of corporate governance in Nigeria, which would help foster accelerating growth with maximum utilization of limited resources and uniting the spectrum of stakeholders of an organization towards actualisation of desirable results.Ogunsan, who explained that the level of performance of corporate establishments depends much on the quality of transparency and corporate governance put in place by such entities added that all the concepts and principles of corporate governance would be fully harnessed at the programme.'Also, considering the weight and responsibilities that rest on business leaders and political functionaries globally to imbibe ethical practices, it is important to continue to align understanding among the different tentacles of the organisation, which include the stakeholders, shareholders, management and staff,' it said.He said the firm is committed to promoting business ethics, noting that every organisation needs to know the machinery for proper operation, regulation and control of their businesses to enhance successful.He added that it was only when business activities are ethically and legally executed at all levels of management that a corporation could make progress.He explained further that the event would also assist in developing business leaders, industrialists, political functionaries, and principal officers of higher institutions as well as a whole spectrum of players from different organisations on corporate governance and transparency.
