On May 7, 1989, Michael Jordan broke the hearts of the Cleveland Cavaliers players and fans by hitting "The Shot."With the Chicago Bulls trailing the Cavaliers in the final seconds of Game 5 of their first-round series, Jordan came up with one of the most iconic moments of his career.Jordan grabbed the inbounds pass with three seconds to play and quickly got himself in position for a shot. Jordan hung in the air on the shot long enough to avoid Craig Ehlo's block attempt, knocking down the jumper for the win.That do-or-die shot led to Jordan's iconic celebration.Jordan finished the game with 44 points, nine rebounds and six assists.Chicago advanced to the second round with the 101-100 victory.
