Expert wants closure of 1,000 illegal bunkering routes on waterways

Tasks waterways agency on security, job creationDue to the high rate of insecurity on the nations territorial waters, a maritime expert has called for the establishment of the proposed Nigeria Maritime Security Agency to block over 1000 routes of illegal bunkering on the waterways.According to him, the agency would operate from the countrys inland waterways to the Blow-Out-Preventer (BOP) different from the operations of Nigerian Navy.
