Biyi Samuel serves Kabioosi

WHATEVER one will be in life begins to manifest at the tender age of such person and that perhaps explain why elders believe that a child should not be discouraged on what such a child loves to do at childhood period, especially when it involves talent in practicing a particular profession.This is what happened to the popular gospel singer, vocalist and composer, Biyi Samuel (aka Igi Aruwe).For the artiste who is promoting his current album, Kabioosi (No One Dare Ask God) released by Omoola Christian Music, Mokola, Ibadan, the song is a testimony to what God has done in his life through music. According to him, the number is full of praise and celebration of God's glory in his life and every achiever.The eight-track album consist of songs such as; Seun Rere, Ire De, Igi ti Ruwe, Kabioosi, Igbagbo, among others. Apart from composition of melodious songs of praises, Samuel uses the new album to encourage whoever is going through hard time to wait on the Lord for their miracle. All the songs composed are relevant to every situation of mankind.Samuel who started singing at the tender age of three in the church as a member of choir, and developed it to this stage, forged ahead and pursued his education career to university level where he obtained B.Sc. in International Relations from Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife. As faith would have it, Samuel eventually opted for music and put aside his B.Sc. certificate to concentrate on composing songs. Along the line, he came across versatile actor, late Yomi Ogunmola, who introduced him to composition of sound tracks and he started with Femi Fadeyi's work Igi a Ruwe. The sound track brought him into limelight and since then he has become a household name in the entertainment industry.On the number, Igi a Ruwe, Biyi Samuel said he was motivated by the acceptance of the sound track which he composed. 'I thank God for using it as an avenue to expose me through the talent He gave me. Though, I neither belong to any musical band nor sang with anyone before, but I give God the glory because my journey into music started from the house of God,' he said.
