FG okays N25.3 billion contracts for FCT, Transport ministries

Determined to further the development of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), the Federal Executive Council (FEC) has approved the contract for provision of engineering infrastructure for the Phase II of Kagini District of the FCT in the sum of N25.95 billion. The contract for the development of the District, which is in North Phase IV part of the Abuja Masterplan, was first awarded in December 2010 but could not be executed due to lack of funds. With the latest approval, the total contract sum for the district now stands at N52.6 billion and it is expected to be completed in 48 months.
