Piracy: Suspects finger JTF

Three suspects arrested by the police for allegedly using military camouflage for sea piracy in Warri and its environs have fingered some officers of the Joint Task Force (JTF) code named Operation Pulo Shield in the Niger Delta as alleged accomplices. The suspects, who were arrested by the marine police in conjunction with personnel of the Nigerian Navy Ship, NNS Delta, and DIM personnel alleged the uniforms were given to them by men of the JTF from the Sector 1 command of the task force. The suspects claimed they were working for the JTF as boat riders at the creek community of Ogwa 11 where JTF had a camp in Warri South-West Local Government Area of Delta State.
