Olowu stool: OBJ accused of evading court process

former president, Chief Olusegun Obasanjo, has been accused of evading court process over the Olowu of Owu stool.At the resumed hearing of the petition before the Ogun State Truth Commission, on Thursday, the bailiff, who was directed to serve the court process, told the commission that effort to serve the former president had been futile.He said he took the court process to the Hilltop residence of Obasanjo in Abeokuta and was told that the former president was holding meeting with some members of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and directed that the court order be taken to his legal adviser at the Obasanjo Holding Limited.The bailiff told the commission that the legal adviser refused to collect the court process, saying that he was not directed to collect any court process.Meanwhile, former governor of Ogun State, Chief Gbenga Daniel and his wife, Olufunke, had asked the commission to quash all petitions written against them by former chairman, Ijebu-East Local Government Area, Mr Tunde Oladunjoye and one Rasheed Odunaya.Oladunjoye, in the petitions, alleged that the ex-governor forced him to take a blood oath, while his wife was accused of invasion into his private home in Ijebu-Itele, following the riot that broke out in Ijebu East sometimes in 2009.
