Ibarapa East LG boss promises more dividends of democracy

The Ibarapa East Lo-cal Government Area of Oyo State has begun the construction of four major roads in the council area.This disclosure was made by the Chairman, Caretaker Committee of the council, Mr 'Lanre Olaosegba when he led other political appointees, management team and newsmen on inspection of the roads which were undergoing construction of culverts, drains and earthworks before the asphaltic tarring.Mr Olaosegba, during the visit, promised that his administration would not in any way compromise quality standards of all projects so as to meet the yearnings and, as well, alleviate the hardship being experienced by the people before the roads become motorable.The local government boss further reiterated the fact that the roads under construction were just a tip of the ice berg coming from his administration to the populace, saying more dividends of democracy were still coming, so that all cardinal programmes of the Senator Abiola Ajimobi led government in Oyo State will be achieved and enjoyed by all and sundry.A release signed by the local government Principal Information Officer, Prince 'Segun Adeyemo, said that in addition to the roads under construction, the administration of Olaosegba had earlier constructed a mini-clinic within the council secretariat complex, Eruwa; constructed four modern public toilets; and drilled boreholes at Maya Market, Bolorunpelu Market, Okolo Market and New Eruwa Market, respectively.He had also put in place extension of high tension electricity and installation of a 500KVA transformer at the local government secretariat complex, Eruwa, to serve the council and its environs and construction of collapsed box culvert and asphaltic paving at Aborerin, Eruwa.The roads under construction are Alariya Hostel-Okedele road, Eruwa, Opadeye-Olagoke-Opadare road, Araromi, Lanlate, Jolaoso-Amidu Garuba road, Surulere, Lanlate and Olusegun Hospital-Glory Land Nursery and Primary School road, Eruwa.
