Taye Taiwo will shine at QPR -Kanu

FORMER Nigerian captain, Nwankwo Kanu believes Taye Taiwo has made the right choice by opting to come on loan to Queens Park Rangers.Rangers completed Taiwo's loan move from AC Milan during the week and Kanu says Nigerians have the luck to shine in London.''I am pleased with Taiwo, I have always known him as a good kid,'' Kanu told qprfc.com.''He has the experience to make a difference at Rangers and it's welcome to London for him. That is a place where Nigerians players like Celestine Babayaro, Mikel Obi and myself made it big-time,'' remarked Kanu.Taiwo, a long-time admirer of the English football having been previously linked with Manchester City and Arsenal, believes QPR will be a get-away from his trauma at AC Milan.''There, it was difficult maybe because of the team and my kind of background. Ogechi Onyewu also had a tough time there but I have made a lot of friends among the players and the coaching crew and I think I will like to return after the six-month loan.However, Taiwo has a battle on hand to fight for the left-back position.Rangers' regular, Armand Traore will return to the team earlier than expected as favoured Teranga Lions of Senegal have been ousted from the ongoing 2012 Africa Nations Cup in Equatorial Guinea and Gabon.
