Resurrected former council boss dies again

The all night excitement that gripped Ahoada town, the headquarters of Ahoada East-Local Government Area of Rivers State, on Thursday, following the alleged resurrection of a dead man, died when the man finally gave up the ghost on Saturday afternoon.Former Ahoada-East council chairman, Sunny Edema, was certified dead by two medical doctors at about 11.00p.m. on Thursday.The story, however, got interesting when the deceased's elder brother, who is based in Lagos, allegedly sent words that Edema should not be taken to the morgue because he was not dead and that the founder of the Synagogue Church of All Nations, Prophet Temitope Joshua, would come and fully bring him back to life.Though Joshua did not come personally, he was said to have sent some of his senior aides, known as 'wise men.' It was alleged that the 'wise men' eventually brought their dead member back to life. However, sources informed the Nigerian Tribune that Edema died again on Saturday afternoon and his corpse had been deposited in a morgue in Ahoada. A source, who identified herself as Mary, said Edema had finally died this time round as his corpse had already been deposited in the morgue, unlike when it was kept in the house for more than 24 hours before he was resurrected last week.
