To some people, he is Mr. Wonder and to many others, he's Fela's reincarnate. Popularly known as W4, Adewale Adepoju is from Ilesha-Ikoyi, Osun State. His musical journey began when he was in JSS 2; he, however, became a regular feature in the scene in 2004. Before going solo, he had featured as a lead vocalist in Jagbajantis High School, where he was the sideman to Sound Sultan, 'the School's head-teacher.' His debut album, Temperature, released in 2005, with songs such as Solo, High Club Party (Too kpokpos), Amen and Lover's Love, endeared him to many music lovers. Wa Gba Kontrol, his latest single released last year is enjoying massive airplay.
