2012: PDP attacks Oshiomhole over rot of multiple industries in Edo

Leadership of the Edo State chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) yesterday expressed displeasure at the decay of the state owned industries and called on the state governor to take steps to revive them.The ailing industries include the Okpilla Cement factory, Edo Transport Company Service (ETCS), popularly known as Edo Line and several others.According to the party, the affected companies would create employment for the army of unemployed youths roaming the streets as well as generate revenue for the state.Chairman of PDP in the state, Chief Dan Orbih, stated this while addressing members of the party in Abudu, Orhiomnwon council area during a tour of the wards in the South senatorial districts of the state.
