How I refined fuji music 'Ayinde

He started as 'Chief Wasiu Ayinde Barrister' before he changed his stage name to King Wasiu Ayinde Marshal 1 (KWAM 1) and later to K 1 de Ultimate. The music maestro, Wasiu Ayinde Omogbolahan Anifosowose started music as an ordinary a 'packer' with the late Fuji founder Sikiru Ayinde Barrister before he founded his own band. His success story is as a result of his dedication towards his chosen career after his hit album, Talazo series, in the 80's. The Ijebu born singer has remained one of the most consistent musicians in Nigeria. Over time, the Oluomo of Lagos single-handedly changed Fuji music from 'gutter' kind of music to a more refined one. He spoke with Bayo Adeoye.You hit the stardom in the early 80's but many were shocked when you celebrated your 40th year in the music in December last year.
