Kwara NSCDC promotes 700 officers

The Kwara State command of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), has promoted over 700 of its officers and men in its inaugural general promotion and decoration exercise.The corps, which started in 1967, as a volunteer corps to assist on security of lives and property, particularly, during the civil war, was backed by a Act establishing it in 2003, while the Act was amended in 2007.
