The Public Relations Officer (PRO) of the Accord Party (AP) in Egbeda Local Government Area of Oyo State, Mr Julius Olaoye, who was alleged to have been recently kidnapped by members of the proscribed National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW), has been found alive. The victim, who was allegedly kidnapped at the partys office at Iyana Church area of Ibadan, was found, on Wednesday, on the Ibadan-Ijebu-Ode road half naked.Initially, he found it difficult to talk but after a while he spoke gently on his hospital bed. After almost 15 days in a detention camp, he told the Nigerian Tribune that his escape was miraculous as he never thought of getting out alive.Narrating his ordeal, he said he was made to go through hell by his captors, who were always threatening to kill him unless he told them the whereabouts of Honourable Temitope Olatoye, also known as Sugar.Specifically, Olaoye who is also a school teacher, said he was in the party office when some people arrived in six vehicles, four buses and two cars, demanding for the whereabouts of the party candidate into the state House of Assembly, Mr Olatoye.According to him, immediately the people identified him as the spokesman for Sugar, they apprehended him and threatened to kill him if he failed to produce their target.
