Boko Haram: 12 die in Gombe, cop killed in Kaduna

POLICE authorities yesterday put the death toll in Friday's failed attempt by suspected Boko Haram members to break into a prison in Gombe State at 12. But the gunmen continued their killing spree yesterday, killing a Policeman at Kakuri, a southern part of Kaduna State. A mechanic and his daughter were also injured. The Gombe gunmen had set off bombs in an attempted prison break. They also blew up a Police station, triggering hours of battles that killed 12 people.
