Wenger endorses FRENAGE-Progression Academy

ARSENAL manager, Arsene Wenger has endorsed the Nigeria's FENAGE-Progression International Soccer Academy while acknowledging it as academy the London giant club would like to work with, in pursuit of Arsenal's global youth's development program.Wenger disclosed this while receiving the head Coach of FRENAGE-Progression, Latif Alnasaar who recently led members of their technical crew on tour of Emirate Stadium.Alnasaar who visited Nigeria late last year to attend FRENAGE Soccer Summit held in Ibadan after which he partnered FRENAGE, told Arsene Wenger that London Progression has spread its tentacles to West Africa, particularly Nigeria for youth's football development.Responding, according to the reports monitored on the club's website, Wenger said 'Arsenal also has youth's football development program partnership with some countries in Africa like Morocco and Egypt but yet to have any within West African region.'I'm happy to hear about this your inroad into West Africa, especially Nigeria, we'll be ready and like to work with FRENAGE-Progression in this regards'.Meanwhile, FRENAGE-Progression International situated in Ibadan would this month be officially commission for full operations following the arrival of personnel from England that would head the technical department of the academy.According to the Chairman of FRENAGE-Progression Nigeria, Oluwole Ololade, Latif Alnasar, Head Coach London Progression Academy, Coach Tony Calver who will head technical crew of FRENAGE-Progression International Nigeria along with other technical staffs would arrive the country on 15th of this month.
