Save us from robbers, Dalemo residents cry out

Residents of Temidire, Three Storey, Ishau Olorunfunmi, Bamisebi, and Sabaina Taiwo  streets in Sango Ota area of Ogun State   have raised the  alarm over the incessant armed robbery attacks in their areasThe aforementioned streets are on the Arigbabu - Dalemo  road in Sango Ota.The  residents  of the  streets, while speaking with Community News, recently, said armed robbers were always terrorising the communities.The  residents also lamented the  bad state  of  road  along the axis, alleging that the armed robbers often capitalised on that to unleash terror on them, whle at the same time called on the police to  check the activities of the  men of the underworld in the area .A resident in the community, Dele, while  speaking with  Community News , stated that  residents of the street could no longer  sleep  with their  two  eyes closed, following  the daily  reccurrence of  armed robbery attacks.Dele, who claimed he was once a  victim of  armed robbery in the area, stated that  residents  of  Three  Storey area  were often forced to sleep early, following the fear of being attacked by armed robbers.He stated that a gang of armed robbers once  invaded his home and made away  with   valuables, including mobile phones, computer laptops, jewelry and cash.Dele also stated that a  restaurant owner in the area was  killed by gunmen, who invaded his drinking  joint  and ordered him to surrender his sales for the day .Community News also gathered that a chairman of  a transport union in Ogun State narrowly escaped death around Dalemo, when armed robbers waylaid him along the ArigabuDalemo road .The transport unionist and his driver, also identified as Dele  were  said to have  escaped gunshots, after abandoning their car, which the armed robbers, reportedly took awayAnother resident of Sabaina Taiwo, who asked not to be named, informed  Community News that  armed robbers were taking advantage of  the bad roads in the area to rob.The resident   saidThey { the robbers} know that the roads are bad and that you cannot be on top speed  so they use this opportunity to attack  drivers who try to bypass the heavy traffic along Sango Road.
