NFF yet to contact me - Amoo

FORMER Super Eagles assistant coach Fatai Amoo has said that he was yet to be contacted by the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) regarding his choice as the new coach of the country's U-20 national side the Flying Eagles.The media was awashed with reports that the ex Julius Berger FC of Lagos tactician may soon be unveiled as John Obuh's replacement for the job, but the soft spoken coach denied any knowledge of the development as of yesterday morning.Speaking on the reports, coach Amoo explained that he also got wind of the information through the media adding that he has even been receiving phone calls from friends calling to confirm the authenticity of the report."I have been hearing the story from various media but I want to to tell you that it is not yet confirmed even though I pray it turns out to be so," said the ex 3SC of Ibadan handler.It was widely speculated on Wednesday that the NFF had settled for Amoo as the Flying Eagles coach and Kadiri Ikhana for the job of Super Falcons' head coach.
