Govt raises bar

The energy sector witnessed a measure of commitment from the government in the first quarter of this year. The government made efforts toward implementation of reforms in the oil and gas as well as power industries. The quarter also saw producibility exceeding two million barrels per day and power generation was upped to 4,000 megawatts (MW) from little above 3,000MW last year.
