Kogi lawmaker donates building to community school

A member, represent-ing Dekina/Biraidu Constituency in Kogi State House of Assembly, Honourable Gowon Haruna, has commissioned a newly constructed administrative building donated to Iyale Community Secondary School.While commissioning the school project, he assured the electorate from the area that the governor, Captain Idris Wada, was consolidating on the legacies of the former governor, Alhaji Ibrahim Idris, adding that the people would savour good governance.He disclosed that the fencing of Otutulu Orphanage would soon be completed while N1.5 billion contract for Iyale-Otutulu-Oganenigwu road would soon be awarded.Honourable Haruna also donated his January salary to the constituents of the area for communal development.He also donated 10 bags of rice to orphans and widows in the ward, gave out 12 new motor cycles to various youth groups for profitable ventures.While promising the people more dividends of democracy, he also extended his gesture to Etuluekpe and Ate-Ochi communities with N450, 000 and N150,000 respectively to complete their water projects.He also assisted the Iyale chapter of National Union of Road Transport Workers with N250, 000 to enable it register with the national body.
