AC Milanplots world record bid for Ronaldo

AC Milan will launch a world record bid for Cristiano Ronaldoif they win this seasons Serie A title.Silvio Berlusconi  the owner of Milan confirmed he will make an offer for the Real Madrid superstar, who moved to the Bernabeu in a world record £80million deal from Manchester United in 2009.Ronaldo has been in sensational form this season, smashing 28 goals in 28 games for Jose Mourinhos side and is a firm favourite among fans.But Berlusconi has made it clear he is prepared to shatter the world record fee paid by tempting the 26-year-old Portugal international to the San Siro.Berlusconi said: If we win the scudetto then the next transfer window will see us add one or two great players, and one of those could be Ronaldo.If we were able to add Ronaldo to our squad I think it would please everybody. Sometimes dreams come true.Milan are three points clear at the top of the Italian league with six games left as they bid to win their first championship since 2004.Berlusconi reined back spending during the global economic crisis but eased the purse strings at the start of this campaign by signing Zlatan Ibrahimovic from Barcelona for £20m and Robinho from Manchester City for £15m.
