We didnt lose NASS election - Kwara ACN

THE Action Congress of Nigeria (ACN), Kwara State chapter, on Tuesday, said that it did not lose the National Assembly election.Addressing newsmen, the state chairman of the party, Mr Kayode Olawepo, said  the ACN was ready to defend its mandate.He noted that  the party did not lose the election as a result of lack of support from the people of the state.Indeed, as the results clearly showed, even in the face of manipulations and lawlessness exhibited by our opponents, the people of the state made a loud statement to the world that they were ready for genuine liberation, he said.According to him, the ACN lost to senseless rigging, open inducements, compromise by presiding officers and some electoral officers, intimidation by some Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) chieftains, illegal arrest of its agents and other crude tactics of the ruling PDP.For the purpose of clarity, we want to emphasis some of the anomalies perpetrated by the PDP in their desperate bid to continue in their business-as-usual government, which has brought Kwara to this catastrophic path.
