Ibaji council boss tasks on Fadama projects

Members of the Local Fadama Development Technical Committee of Ibaji Local Government Area of Kogi State have been enjoined to ensure the effectiveness of the Fadama programmes and policies.The council chairman of Ibaji, Hon Abraham Uchola, stated that the Fadama programme if effectively adhered to would go a long way for the people to benefit maximally from it.While assuring his administrations total commitment to the programme, the chairman charged the committee which he inaugurated at Onyedega to put in their best to ensure the success of the programme in the area.Uchola stated that the council had already paid over N2m as counterpart funding Fadama III project which brought about the commencement of the project at Ichaja Ajode in the council area.The chairman, commended Governor Ibrahim Idris, for the huge financial contribution to enable the people of the state enjoy the benefit of the Fadama project.He also called on the community leaders and the people of the area to give maximum support to the committee members.
