In a sport where those who fail 70 percent of the time are considered to be among the game's elite hitters, it's easy to forget how truly humbling baseball can be.No matter a player's salary, track record of success or numbers on the season, every player inevitably finds himself in a funk at one point or another over the course of a 162-game regular season.
