WWE SummerSlam 2015: Final Predictions for Event's Biggest Matches

Published by Bleacher Report on Fri, 21 Aug 2015

The 2015 edition of SummerSlam is one of the most anticipated pay-per-views of the year for WWE, and a huge card filled with marquee matches should have even the most casual wrestling fans coming out of the woodwork to watch this event. From a blockbuster main event between Brock Lesnar and The Undertaker to a champion vs. champion match between John Cena and Seth Rollins, there is enough depth and talent on Sundays card to make this an unforgettable event. Here are the final predictions for the biggest matches on the SummerSlam card. The Undertaker vs. Brock Lesnar Features Major Shenanigans There is no way WWE should be booking either Undertaker or Lesnar to win clean in the main event of SummerSlam, so wrestling fans should be ready for interference that will eventually result in some sort of dirty finish. With this match being the main event of the WWEs second most important PPV of the year, the interference has to be blockbuster. Before someone makes his run-in, though, Lesnar and Undertaker deserve to put on a great match to make up for WrestleMania 30.Once the match is approaching the finish, thats when Undertaker can call on his brother, masked Kane. With the Brothers of Destruction reunited, Undertaker would finally have the upper hand on Lesnar and look to be ready to capture the victory. As Kane and Undertaker attack Lesnar, the lights should go black, and when they turn back on, it should be the vigilante Sting in the ring to thwart the attack from the Brothers of Destruction and save Lesnar. This ending would set up multiple matches moving forward, including the dream bout between Sting and Undertaker at WrestleMania 32 in Dallas.John Cena Will Defeat Seth Rollins via DisqualificationThe co-main event for SummerSlam this year will be WWE World Heavyweight champion Seth Rollins squaring off against United States champion John Cena in a title vs. title matchup.Just like the main event, though, this bout will not feature a clean finish.Rollins is one of the most talented in-ring workers on earth right now, and Cena has proved during his run with the US title that he can elevate his game against elite competition. Add in the broken nose factor, and the match itself will be a great showcase.Unfortunately, the ending will get convoluted. Neither man should hold both titles, so having this match end in disqualification due to interference from Money in the Bank briefcase holder Sheamus is the best course of action.Whether Sheamus successfully cashes in or not will really depend on Cena and if the United States champion beats the Irish star down after the match after he cost him the world title. Either way, this co-main event should not feature a title change unless Sheamus wins the world championship.Team PCB Will Outlast Team Bella and Team B.A.D.The divas revolution is going strong, and SummerSlam will feature a nine-woman elimination tag team match featuring all three members of Team PCB, Team Bella and Team B.A.D.The key to picking a winner in this match is finding the teams with the jobbers. Since only Team Bellawith Alicia Foxand Team BADwith Tamina Snukahave women who can afford to take pinfalls, those two teams will be eliminated. While Sasha Banks is arguably the most talented woman in the group, the trio of Paige, Charlotte and Becky Lynch is the most popular with fans and the most skilled in the ring overall. As long as Team PCB takes the victory and Banks looks strong, the WWE Universe will be happy. For more wrestling talk, listen toRing Rust Radiofor all of the hot topics or catch the latest episode in the player above (some language NSFW).
