Tijani: My philosophy of art is to listen to my heart and follow it

Iyabo Tijani is one of the leading female voices in the Nigerian visual arts scene. A graduate of Arts from the Ahmadu Bello University in Zaria, where she got her first and second degrees respectively, Mrs. Tijani also holds a PhD, and is a lecturer at the Yaba College of Technology, Lagos. Influenced by her maternal grandmother, who is from a long line of families renowned for tie and die in Oshogbo, Osun State, Tijani insists that she chose to major in Graphics because it was the best thing for her to do.
