CHAIRMAN Nigeria Women's League Board, Chief (Mrs.) Dili Onyedinma has assured Nigerians of a better outing when the U-20 confront Zimbabwe's women side in the return leg scheduled for 2 weeks time, though Falconet on Saturday recorded 3-0 emphatic victory but there is room for the team to get better.The women's League boss declared this while addressing newsmen at MKO Abiola Stadium, Abeokuta immediately after the FIFA Women's World Cup qualifier's tie saying 'the best of the Nigerian girls is yet to be seen as was long the team played a grade 'A' match like this last'.Onyedinma noted that her board is doing everything necessary to strengthen the Women's League so that the League can keep producing quality and young players for our various national teams.'We are not going to rest on our oars if we must maintain our dominance in African continent considering the spate of improvement and development noticeable in some other African nations in women football.'I'm happy to inform you that we have many young players in the Women League now, I mean girls of 15-16 years, who are either in secondary school or have just passed out in most of our teams. This is part of league board 13-Point Programme of Action, that is, Grassroots Football Development, so that we can see fresh and new faces coming up to take over from the ageing ones', Onyedinma opined.
