Three policemen killed, station razed in Anambra

Three policemen were killed yesterday and their station razed when gunmen invaded Ukpor Police Station in Nnewi South Local Government, Anambra State.The attack came less than 24 hours after Amichi Police Station, also in Nnewi, was raided, with arms and ammunition carted away by hoodlums.It was learnt that about 10 bandits launched the attack at Ukpor Police Station about 2.30 a.m., ransacked it and shot into the air endlessly to ward off any counter attack by security agents.
