No Juve move for Osaze - Agent

Published by Tribune on Sat, 16 Apr 2011

NIGERIAN international, Osaze Odemwingie, will not leave West Brom except the English Premiership side decides to offload him, his agent, David Omigie, revealed yesterday. Odemwingie with 11 goals in his kitty, is a subject of transfer to a bigger club and latest of the stories linked him with a possible summer switch to Italian stalwart, Juventus. However, Omigie insists his client is happy at West Brom and that the striker will only leave if the team considers him surplus to requirement.Peter has a contract with West Brom, where he is very happy. There has been no contact with us and the only people who can say whether there has been any interest in Peter are West Brom.He added: West Brom havent told us about anything and Peter is really enjoying himself there and doing very well. He will be happy staying there unless West Brom tell us otherwise, Omigie told Sportsmail.Tribunesports recalls that Odemwingie hit it big with the Baggies immediately he completed a  £2-million move from Lokomotiv Moscow last summer. At Moscow, he suffered racial abuses but responded with remarkable displays in the English Premiership under former coach of West Brom, Roberto Di Matteo. However, the sacking of Di Matteo and the arrival of Roy Hodgson jolted the player as Hodgson complained about the quality of the players he inherited. In recent days, Hodgson has come out with praise words for Odemwingie describing him as a big player who has done well against big teams in England.
