AYC: Obuh accepts Venlos decision on Musa

HEAD coach of the Flying Eagles, John Obuh has said that he had no option but to accept the decision of VV Venlo of Holland to have striker, Ahmed Musa shuttle between South Africa and Holland during the African Youth Championship (AYC) which begins on Sunday.The former Kano Pillars forward would be available for Nigerias opening two games of the tournament, fly back to Holland to play for his club, and then return to take part in one game in the knockout stages.That is the only option we have for now, so we have to take it, Obuh said. He (Musa) is a very good player, a very disciplined player and he really wants to play in this team.He calls me up regularly to find out how we are doing, and what we require him to do. And that is the kind of spirit we want in this team.Musa has already made his senior international debut, but Obuh says he remains a key component of his cadet squad.He was with us before he went to the Super Eagles, and he is still part of us, said the former Kwara United coach.Nigeria is drawn in group B alongside defending champions, Ghanas Black Satellites, Young Lions of Cameroun and the Gambian youngsters.
