LG chairmanship aspirant promises new development in Ikenne

A chairmanship aspirant inIkenne Local Government Area of Ogun State, Mr Funso Akinsanya, has promised to live up to the expectations and demand of the people if eventually he becomes the chairman of the local government.Mr Akinsanya, who is contesting on the platform of the Action Congress of Nigeria (ACN), said this while speaking with newsmen at Inishan-Remo recently, saying he had prepared a blueprint on how to administer the council.According to him, 'I feel sorry when I see the poverty level of our people and this has been giving me a lot of headache. There is no food, no potable water, we don't have good roads, even, our education is nothing to write home about. We are now living in abject poverty. We can only overcome all these problems by electing a credible person to the helms of affairs of the local government.'He said though, there were lots of challenges on ground, with God's guidance and the people's support, all his aims in transforming the local government would be at ease, if elected.
