CAF Champions League: Eguma blames weather for Dolphins' loss

DOLPHINS head coach, Stanley Eguma has said that the weather affected his team especially in the first half in their CAF Champions League second leg match against Coton Sport of Garoua on Sunday.Dolphins lost the encounter 1-0 from a Jacques Haman strike. They were eliminated 2-2 on aggregate due to the away goal scored by the Cameroonians a fortnight ago in Port Harcourt.Eguma noted that his boys could not really move in the first half because of the weather of the Cameroonian town.'It was a good game. The two teams played very well especially in the second half,' said Eguma."In the first half the weather affected my boys and really disturbed their flow in the game, but in the second we had series of scoring chances but failed to utilisatsed it. My boys did well. They tried.'Coton Sport coach Robert Biovin simply said they are happy with the win and will now focus on other matches.'We have a game in the Cameroonian championships and then we play against a side from Ghana [Berekum Chelsea] in the next stage of the CAF Champions League,' Biovin said.'Dolphins were difficult to beat but we are happy we are through and we will now concentrate on other games.
