WWE Night of Champions 2015: Feuds That Will Continue Through Hell in a Cell

Published by Bleacher Report on Thu, 24 Sep 2015

The 2015 edition of WWEs Night of Champions pay-per-view and the subsequent episode of Raw the following night have made it clear that several ongoing feuds will continue all the way through to Hell in a Cell in October. From the ongoing angle involving the Wyatt Family and Dean Ambrose, Roman Reigns and an ever-changing ally to the most entertaining feud in WWE right now between the Dudley Boyz and New Day, the October PPV is shaping up to feature several matches the WWE Universe has already seen. Here are the storylines that will carry into the Hell in a Cell PPV.Wyatt Family vs. Dean Ambrose and ReignsThe storyline between the Wyatt Family and the pairing of Ambrose and Reigns has been going on for months, and there is no end in sight. Add in a new member to the Wyatts, Braun Strowman, and this angle is just getting started. After Chris Jericho turned his back on Ambrose and Reigns at Night of Champions, it was Randy Orton who returned from a beat down at the hands of the Wyatt Family to even the odds for the good guys once again. With six men involved, Hell in a Cell will almost certainly feature a tag team match. The hope is that with all of the talent involved in this program, the WWE does the right thing and books this six-man tag match inside the Hell in a Cell structure. The stipulation would be a way to protect the limited talents of Reigns and Strowmanwhile still giving the WWE Universe unforgettable visuals.Dudley Boyz vs. New DayWithout question, the most entertaining part of WWE programming every week is the actions in and out of the ring by the New Day. As if the trio couldnt get any better, the addition of the Dudley Boyz makes this a dream feud come true. The Dudley Boyz consists of two of the greatest tag team performers in wrestling history, and their presence is exactly what the division needed. The New Day is killing it right now as heel champions, but without a face pairing the fans can get behind to chase them, their impact wouldnt be as noticeable. Not only is New Day holding the championships, but the group is also feuding against bona fide legends. Thats a pretty big push for Big E, Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods. After watching New Day retain the titles thanks to a disqualification finish at Night of Champions, the Dudley Boyz will likely earn the victory at Hell in a Cell to win the championships and set up a rematch at Survivor Series in November.Kevin Owens vs. RybackIn one of the biggest moments from Night of Champions, Kevin Owens won the Intercontinental Championship from Ryback. At WWEs Hell in a Cell, theyll likely go at it again.Ryback doesnt get the credit he deserves from wrestling fans, especially after he helped put on one of the best matches of Sundays PPV. Owens is clearly the superior worker in and out of the ring, but the former champion deserves some credit. As well as Ryback performed, this angle is all about getting Owens back to an elite level where he can shine. As the best true heel in the business today, there is no one on the WWE roster who draws the kind of heat Owens does every night. With most fans believing the IC title should mean something, putting the belt around the waist of Owens was the right call. Letting the champion defend his belt successfully at Hell in a Cell would be ideal booking. For more wrestling talk, listen toRing Rust Radiofor all of the hot topics or catch the latest episode in the player above (some language NSFW).
