24 hours to presidential polls2 killed, 7 injured in Maiduguri attack

IT was a sad Election Days eve in Maiduguri, Borno State capital, when two gunmen, suspected to be members of the Boko Haram sect laid siege on residents of Gwange Ward of the metropolis and killed two people while two soldiers and five civilians sustained gunshots. Among the injured are two teenagers, Samaila Usman, 16, and Mohammed Musa, 15, who were said to be the first to blow the whistle when they saw the gunmen alighting from a motorcycle with concealed AK47 riffles in their clothes.
