Uche Kalu happy playing against Egypt

ALTHOUGH Nigeria's Super Eagles lost 2-3 to the Pharaohs of Egypt in an international friendly tie, Enyimba striker, Uche Kalu has expressed excitement at coming face-to-face with one of Africa's biggest stars, Mohamed Abou Treika.The Nigerians fell to the Pharaohs in Dubai, UAE on Thursday, but the striker felt great playing against a team made up of crack players.Kalu, who scored Nigeria's second goal in the international friendly match, told EnyimbaFC.net on arrival from the Middle East on Friday afternoon that he had fun playing up front against the Pharaohs.He also praised coach Stephen Keshi for psyching up the team before the tune-up match against the North Africans."The coach (Stephen Keshi) told us to play as if we were playing in a normal game. "He said he believes in us and for me I realise that it was great playing against Egypt, and I enjoyed myself though we lost, which I didn't like," he added.The 24-year-old described how he felt, playing against Abou Treika: "It was a good experience for me. He's a great player and it was good to play against him."Kalu and Henry Uche were the Enyimba players who featured in Thursday's friendly match against the seven-time African champions.
