In Kaduna, APCON, TIMEX host capacity building for practitioners

A TWO-DAY seminar for marketing communication professionals put together by Advertising Practitioners Council of Nigeria (APCON) and the TIMEX School of Communication will open on April 18 at the TIMEX School of Communication, Kaduna, with The Managing Director of the Kaduna State Media Corporation, Mrs. Comfort Tamani Yusuf, as the special guest.Some of the topics to be discussed at the seminar are; the changing characteristics of the media-implications for media owners and users by Prof Charles Okigbo, Niche and positioning strategies for successful media operations by Bola Agboola, while Mr. Ken Onyeali-Ikpe will talk on appropriate media space/airtime: value delivery challenges for media owners and advertisers.On the second day, the founder of TIMEX School of Communication, Mallam Kabir Dangogo will present a paper on Corporate communications challenges: Giving voice to government agencies, it will be followed by Exploiting the potentials of small businesses for advertising by Mallam Mohammed Idris, the managing Director of Bifocal Communications and Publisher of Blueprint Newspaper.At the end, participants will be presented certificates for their partaking in the programme.
